How would i rid my bedroom of mice without my parents finding out?

Ok, so I was recently sitting up ad God knows what hour and i saw a little mouse runa across my bedroom, then like 5 minutes later it came back. It scared the life out of me, and I don't know what to do. We've allready had mice at some other time and I don't want to know what my mum would do if she found out They're in my bedroom. 1. traps...
  2. just tell her. that or buy a sticky trap at the store and put it down where you saw it.
  3. Get a cat ;)
  4. eeek! just get those sticky things and place one under your bed and one in the closet or something.. it's not like she's in your room..? i'd hope not.
  5. WHY are they in there?
  6. Oh dear.. oh dear.. Okay. Clean your room.. ENTIRELY. Get rid of ANY food and garbage.. and then in two days... tell your family :) Then, they can't get too angry :) :) :)
  7. Go to walmart and get some traps. If you dont mind killing them get the glue traps, if you do, get the humane traps. They are clear plastic and allow the mouse in but not out. Catch them and let them go outside down the road. Or throw out the glue traps when your mom isnt around.
  8. You need to tell her because if you've seen one of them then they are everywhere.
  9. leave a piece of food out in the middle of your room, (not under clothes or anything, or you could lose it and it could go all gross) and lie on your bed and just watch to see how many rodents come out. why wouldnt you tell your mum? just tell her. its not like its your fault. also, check in alll your drawrs and behind your furnitute for the nest or where its living. check for how many poos is around, to give you an idea of how long its been there for and roughly how many there are.
  10. i would not ever kill mice i would tell my mom though becuz if they bite you, you dun no if its sick and u can get seriously infected so tell ur mom to call a mouse inspecter and they can get all the mice with special things without hurting them.
  11. Need to tell them mate. The mice are probably in other parts of the house as well
  12. You will have to tell your parents that you saw one ! I have given you a link below for a great little invention ! It is a little anti mouse high frequency radio signal transmitter. Once you get one, and switch it on, all the little Jerry´s will move house, further up the block! and not come back, unless you have a deaf one, ha! ha! Good Luck !!
  13. Mice will only come in if there is something they want in your room - food, left around etc - so what is it? They don't just pop around to visit out of the kindness of their little rodent hearts. The first thing you should do is tidy up and get any old food, or bits of food, out of there. If there's nothing to attract them they won't come. Traps etc are okay but you aren't guaranteed a clean kill (sticky traps are just cruel and horrible, by the way) if you find a half dead mouse in one of your traps can you finish it off? From the way you phrased your question I have my doubts. Perhaps the easiest thing would be to tell your mom and get a pest controller in.
  14. Cricket bat + mouse = SPLAT.
  15. Try one of those sonar anti rodent devises. Doesn't kill them, just chases them away. They work too.
  16. you need to tell your mum cause if you have them in your room they could be in other rooms too.....if they are in the kitchen their droppings could get in your food then you would get really sick. i think the best bet is to give your room a really massive sort out, make sure there is no old food or anything else dirty lurking, and try and find where they are coming in. if there is a mouse hole, put a trap in, and block it so they cant get in your room. check it daily to see if you have caught any, you don't want a dead mouse rotting behind your wall.
  17. Jade, a good way to rid your bedroom of mice without your parents finding out is, once you have got rid of them, place small cardboard replicas in the places where they would normally have be seen. A possible way of getting rid of mice is to get a cat - females tend to be better mousers - or, if you can afford it and are brave enough - a juvenile python of some species. Pythons are relatively secretive and tend to graduate to the warmer out-of-sight areas near hot water pipes when left to their own devices, and so are generally inconspicuous. They have been known to give unsuspecting parents heart attacks though. With a python in residence the mice will soon either be eaten or will have escaped to another house on the block. You can always advertise and sell the reptile when you are sure its job has been accomplished. Incidentally, it seems that riding a motor-cycle through the forest whilst wearing a fair-sized python is not recommended - I found that out from Asian News International (available on the web).
  18. I know it seems horrid to trap them but it will be the only way. Mice love chocolate and so the smell will encourage them if you have chocolate in your room. Also a really good way to incentivise them to walk into your trap!!! We had some just before Christmas a couple of years ago. I had wrapped up those variety packs of chocs you can get and they unwrapped them all and scoffed the lot!!! We caught about 8 fat mice that year!!!!
